The Three Magical Steps of Skincare - Cleansing, Toning, and Moisturizing

1. Cleanse: Washing your face with a gentle cleanser is the first step in any skincare routine. Choose a face cleanser suitable for your skin type (gel or cream-based), massage it onto your face, and rinse with lukewarm water. Be sure to remove all makeup, dirt, and impurities that can clog pores. High TFM Toilet Soaps or Bodywash are not fit for delicate facial skin. Good options include Cetaphil Cleanser, CeraVe Cleanser, Sebamed Cleanser and more
2. Tone: Apply a toner to help balance your skin's pH and remove any remaining impurities. Toners can also help reduce the appearance of pores and tighten skin. Different skin types need different toners. Oily skin should prefer toners with Salicylic and Glycolic Acid where as Niacinamide Toner works best for all skin types.
3. Moisturize: Apply a moisturizer that suits your skin type (lightweight for oily skin or rich for dry skin). This step is crucial in maintaining hydration levels, protecting against environmental stressors, and promoting collagen production.

Optional Skincare Tools and Products for Glowing Skin

1. Exfoliating Scrub/Serum: A chemical or physical exfoliant (e.g., AHA/BHA exfoliator or a gentle natural scrub) to help remove dead skin cells and promote cell turnover.
2. Face Serum: An active serum that targets specific skin concerns (e.g., acne, aging, or hyperpigmentation).
3. Eye Cream: A rich cream specifically formulated for the delicate skin around your eyes.
4. Sunscreen: A broad-spectrum sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 30 or higher to protect against UV rays. Just protecting your complextion is not enough, skin needs to be nourished with nutrients and latest is the skin lightening glutathione supplements.
5. Facial Roller: A gentle roller that helps stimulate collagen production, reduce puffiness, and improve skin texture.
6. Gua Sha Tool: A traditional Chinese tool used to scrape away dead skin cells, promote lymphatic drainage, and increase blood flow. Gua Sha is a very effective massage tool and works very well with oils and massage creams, I can personally vouch for it.
