Work from home is not a thing anymore it is The Thing. My husband has been WFH ever since he started working so I know that dinning table or living room is not the ideal WFH place. One needs a designated space which is "The Office" (pun intended), and many other small items that make it one. Here I am listing a few very important essentials required to make a home office.

1. Desk: A sturdy, spacious desk is the centerpiece of your home office. Choose a size that fits comfortably in the room.
2. Comfortable chair: Invest in an ergonomic, adjustable office chair that promotes good posture and comfort during long working hours. I would also recommend a good rug, incase you want to stretch or accommodate kids.
3. Computer or laptop: A reliable computer or laptop is the core of your home office setup. Its not just "The IT Crowd" (pun intended again) who needs a good machine but all sort of work is dependent on a good computer, especially in the age of content makers.
4. Monitor(s): One or two high-quality monitors can enhance productivity and multitasking capabilities. More the merrier is the mantra but look out for sturdy way to hold up the monitors
5. Plants: Add some greenery to improve air quality, boost mood, and enhance productivity. They boost mood and can be a companion during late working hours.

7. Stationary Items: I am a stationary lover, i hoard stationary items that i never use but what fun is a work desk without over flowing pens, markers, glues, pencils, notebooks, files, sharpeners, staplers, tape dispensers...etc!
